  Unmarked taxis waiting at Kraków Główny station and the Main Square charge tourists many times the metered fare — book a Bolt or Uber, or a clearly-marked radio taxi, where the price is agreed up front. Currency-exchange 'kantor' offices on and around Rynek Główny and Floriańska Street advertise a good rate on the board but pay a much worse one at the counter, or display a near-worthless currency's rate in your eyeline; change money at a bank or a kantor away from the square, and count it before you leave. If two 'tourists' or a street promoter invite you to a private bar or strip club, expect a several-hundred-złoty bill per round enforced by bouncers.
